I am Richard Weik and I am Director of Operations of a Texas based Hotel Development company.  For the last 25 yrs I have been in Construction, Management and Renovations of hotels. My job requires long hours and lots of walking and climbing, elevators don’t engage until construction is finished so many many flights of wooden stairs carrying blueprints, briefcases and other cumbersome items.
     About 2 yrs ago my body revolted, I felt sharp stabbing pain in my left thigh that left me hunched over, hobbling and limping around with a cane. My former family Dr when reviewing my symptoms prescribed Tylenol and to lose 100lbs. A different Chiropractor treated me for several months and never took X-rays saying they were not needed.
I had passed by AHCHC office daily and chuckled at AHCHC being located in Olmos Park, and then one day I decided to stop in. From the moment I walked in the door EVERYONE made me feel as if I was their most important patient. That day I met Jeff who took one look at me and knew I needed help. He set up an appointment to meet with Dr Parker who spent over an hour examining my back, leg, hip and took X-rays. During the review of my Spinal X-rays Dr. Tremblay pointed out the years of abuse and the severe curve that had formed in my spine. Dr. Tremblay saw potential and I only saw the Hunchback of Notre Dame. During my emotional breakdown she assured me that she, Dr. Parker and their staff would do everything possible to make me better.
     During the past year I have faithfully met with Drs Tremblay, Parker and Lorena twice weekly for adjustments and therapy. I still have a limp but I feel 10 yrs younger, I am 2” taller and no longer walking with a cane.
I only wish I had come in sooner, recently I attended a Hilton convention and dozens of people came up to me to tell me how much better I look and to ask what happened to my cane.
